JR is from Pataskala and has attended Tri-Village since high school. He is a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a degree in integrated Social Studies Education and a masters degree in Political Science from American Public University. He teaches at CTEC of Licking County and is married to Audrey. They have two sons, Jack. and James.
