Village Kids (1st-5th Grades)

Kids Resources

These years are crucial in the development of a child's life.  In addition to Sundays, there are large events such as summer Vacation Bible School, camp, and Schoolapalooza throughout the year that help kids and families stay connected.

Village Kids is Tri-Village’s Kids' Ministry for 1st thru 5th grades.  Village Kids seeks to develop faith in children so that they become devoted followers of Jesus.  We look forward to partnering with you in the journey of raising your child(ren).

Registration
If you have children (up thru 5th grade) and are visiting for the first time, we encourage you to come early in order to register them for any kids' classes.  You may enter in the East (side) entrance of the building.  Registration and check-in is done through an electronic kiosk system.

Safety & Security
We place an extremely high value on the safety and security of children.  All kids' volunteers have undergone a background check.  Additionally, all kids' classrooms have security cameras in them.

During Sunday Mornings (1st-3rd Grades)
1st thru 3rd graders have their own class & worship times during each hour that include a Bible story.  Class time also consists of activities, snacks, and music that correlate with the topic.  We want children to have a great time learning about Jesus.

During Sunday Mornings (4th-5th Grades)
A separate worship service designed for 4th-5th grades and is offered during the 8:30 and 11:10am hours on Sunday mornings.  Music and a lesson are a part of these services.  During the 9:50am worship service time, a Bible-based Sunday School class is offered.  4th & 5th grades do not need to use the electronic kiosks.

Children with Food Allergies
For first through third graders, the food allergy will be noted on the printed children’s name tag.  We also encourage you to not hesitate informing the teacher.  If a teacher brings in a snack that correlates with the lesson, we first verify that no child has an allergy to that food.

Hangtime (4th-5th Grades)
Hangtime is a once a month gathering throughout the school year and meets from 12:30-2pm on a Sunday for games, devotions, food, and hanging out.  Stay posted on the next Hangtime event by watching the website.

Volunteering
Village Kids is always looking for volunteers to help in a variety of roles.  Whether you prefer to serve behind the scenes or enjoy teaching, there is a place for you.  Pick-up a Village Kids Volunteer Card in the Children’s Check-in are to learn more.

We look forward to having you visit with us!
