We believe that what we do within each ministry should flow purposefully out of what we value, love, and enjoy. Each person has been designed with specific talents and abilities in which they can use to make a difference. ACTIVITY GROUP COORDINATOR

Description: Activity Groups are designed to help individuals make connections with others who have the same interest (i.e. Pickleball).
Service Opportunities: Help lead an Activity Group that you believe would help individuals connect with one another.
Time Involvement: Varies
Membership Required: Yes, if coordinating a group; no, if participating

AUDIO

Description: Help run audio for worship services and special events.
Time Involvement: Varies; for Sundays, the commitment is for a Thursday evening practice and all Sunday worship services (typically, once a month)

BAPTISM HOSTS
Description: Baptism Hosts greet individuals at the time they are going to be baptized, show them the changing rooms, and take a picture of anyone being baptized.
Service Opportunities: Volunteers are needed int his vital hospitality role.

CAFE MINISTRY
Description: The Cafe Ministry exists to promote fellowship before and after morning worship services by serving food and coffee in the Pomegranate Cafe.
Service Opportunities: Individuals help prepare coffee, serve food, greet, and assist in clean-up.

CHILDREN

Description: The Village Kids Ministry seeks to develop and nurture faith in children in order that they become devoted followers of Jesus.
Service Opportunities:
     Teach- Help teach a class
     Assistant Teacher- Assist the classroom teacher
     Prep. Crew- Help organize and prepare crafts and other classroom needs
     Music- Help lead music
     Sanitation Crew- Wash and sanitize toys, bottles, and other classroom supplies
Time Involvement: Varies according to ministry involvement
Membership Required: Teaching or leadership roles require membership.  Other roles are open to members and non-members.

Nursery/Preschool Coordinator-

CHILDREN'S CHECK-IN

Description: The Children's Check-in Ministry assists families with checking-in children (birth-3rd grade).
Service Opportunities: The team is always looking for individuals who would be interested in helping greet children, assist parents checking-in children, and take visiting families to kids' classrooms.
Time Involvement: Serve 1-2 Sundays a month prior to a weekend service.

COMMUNICATIONS
Description: Tri-Village's Communications Ministry includes advertising, graphic design, website, church app, mass communications, and public relations.  There are a number of individuals involved within this ministry.
Service Opportunities: Help in a number of ways; some areas require no previous experience.
Time Involvement: Varies
Membership Required: No membership requirement unless you are leading a specific aspect of the Communications Team (i.e. graphic design).

COMMUNION PREPARATION/CLEAN-UP
Description: The Communion Prep./Clean-up Ministry helps prepare communion for Sunday services and clean-up the communion trays after a service has concluded.
Service Opportunities: Individuals are needed to prepare communion and clean-up the trays as part of a monthly rotation with other individuals throughout the year.
Time Involvement: Varies

COMPUTER (FOR WORSHIP SERVICES)

Description: The Computer Ministry is a part of Tri-Village's technical ministries.  This role helps to run computer for Sunday services on a rotational basis.
Service Opportunities: Help run the computer for a worship practice (Thursday evenings) and at all Sunday morning services.  Note: Individuals in this ministry typically service once every 4-6 weeks.
Time Involvement: Varies

FIRST RESPONDERS

Description: The First Responders Ministry is comprised of trained personnel who are available if a medical emergency arises during a worship service or church event.
Service Opportunities: Help serve in this vital ministry.

FOCUS GROUP COORDINATOR
Description: Focus Groups are classes/study groups offered for a brief period ranging from a few days in a row to several months.  Overall, they have a limited time frame in which they are offered.  Focus Group Coordinators help coordinate a group and most commonly select their topic that focuses on spiritual growth.
Service Opportunities: Help lead coordinate a Life Group.
Time Involvement: Varies

JESUS AND ME MORNING SCHOOL (J.A.M.)
Description: The Jesus and Me Morning School (J.A.M.) is a Wednesday morning school (9:15-11:15am) that meets throughout the school year.  Its purpose is for children to be able to learn within a safe, Christian environment while interacting with other children and having fun.  It is for 3 through 5 year olds.  Note: Children who attend must be at least three years old by August 31st and potty-trained.  Children who attend an afternoon kindergarten class are also eligible to attend.
Service Opportunities: Teachers and volunteers are needed.  Roles vary depending on position, but a background check is required for every positions.
Time Involvement: Typically a few hours each week throughout the school year.
Membership Required: J.A.M. is open to any child interested in attending.  All teachers need to be leaders.

LANDSCAPING

Description: The Landscaping Ministry consists of helping to maintain the landscaping around the church property.  Due to the weather, some roles are seasonal in nature.
Service Opportunities: Opportunities include helping weed, plant flowers, spread mulch.
Time Involvement: Much of this ministry allows for participants to work when their schedule(s) allow.

LIFE GROUP COORDINATOR

Description: Tri-Village desires to help people completely follow Jesus.  This ministry connects individuals into smaller groups than the large worship gathering on Sunday mornings.  Groups meet at a variety of times, both on Sundays and throughout the week.
Service Opportunities: Help either coordinate a group or serve as someone who helps organize the details of a group.  Assistance is provided, if needed, with choosing curriculum.
Time Involvement: Varies

Description: This ministry provides meals for families with newborns, those who have lost a loved one in their immediate family, or have had a medical crisis.
Service Opportunities: Individuals are needing to help prepare meals for individuals/families.
Time Involvement: Typically a few hours per meal which includes preparation of meal and coordinating with the person/family receiving the meal to determine best drop-off time.

MOMS I.N.C.

Description: Moms I.N.C. (Interested in Networking & Connecting) is for moms with children ages five and under.  They typically meet twice a month with one gathering at the church (childcare provided) and the other being an outing with kids.
Service Opportunities: Assist in coordinating group meetings and gatherings through a variety of opportunities including food, planning, and communications.
Time Involvement: Varies
Membership Required: Only for helping coordinate and plan activites

MUSIC (INSTRUMENTAL & VOCAL)

Description: This ministry helps lead the worship services each weekend.
Service Opportunities: Opportunities include playing an instrument with the worship team, singing on handheld mic, and worship choir.
Time Involvement: Varies
Membership Required: There is no membership worship choir.  Due to its leadership nature, membership is required for instrumentalists and/or handheld mic.

OUTREACH
Description: Tri-Village supports numerous organizations, mission and missionaries (both local and international). Each year, over 10% of Tri-Village's annual budget goes towards outreach. For specific ways to get involved, contact .  Additional, visit tri-village.org/outreach for an overview.
Service Opportunities: Volunteer opportunities range from working with local schools, inner city ministries, networking with missionaries, and handling publicity.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Description: The Photography Ministry takes pictures at large events throughout the year as well as a variety of smaller projects.
Service Opportunities: Help take pictures.

Membership Required: No but participants must be at least attending regularly on Sunday mornings. Note: A background check is required for most volunteers.

PRAYER

Description: The Prayer Ministry currently consists of praying with individuals after a service in the Prayer Room (located just outside the Chapel).
Service Opportunities: Work in the Prayer Room after a Sunday service on a monthly rotation.

PRE-TEENS (4th-6th GRADES)

Description: Tri-Village's Pre-Teen Ministry is for those in 4th-6th grades.
Service Opportunities: Opportunities range from teacher to sponsor.

Membership Required: Teaching or leadership roles require membership; all volunteers must complete a background check.

PROPERTY
Description: The Property Ministry consists of both the building and grounds of the church campus.  Due to the weather, some roles are seasonal in nature.
Service Opportunities: Opportunities range from maintenance, electric, plumbing, and housekeeping.
Time Involvement: Varies

SECURITY
Description: This ministry seeks to create a safe environment for every individual and child that is on Tri-Village's campus.
Service Opportunities: Individuals may serve on the Security Team during a Sunday service.  Other opportunities include large events such as VBS and Schoolapalooza.

Membership Required: Yes, background check is also required.

Description: Servers are the individuals (males and females) who pass the communion and offering trays during a weekend service.
Service Opportunities: Serve at a service for one month
Time Involvement: Arrive 20 minutes prior to the service at which you are scheduled.

SHEPHERD'S STAFF

Description: The Shepherd's Staff Ministry helps meet the physical needs of widows and widowers in the church (i.e. painting, yard work, minor house repairs)

S.O.U.L. SERIES
Description: The S.O.U.L. Series Ministry focuses on helping individuals develop their souls to be more like Christ. It is based upon Luke 10:27a, "He answered, 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind.'"  On a number of occasions throughout the year, there will be either a guest speaker, seminar, or ministry project.
Service Opportunities: Opportunities range from helping with organization, planning, advertising, and greeting.

STUDENTS (7th-12th GRADES)

Description: Tri-Village Student Ministries (TVSM) exists to INVITE and ACCEPT youth into a community of faith to WORSHIP God and SERVE others so that they may DISCOVER God's purposes for their lives.
Service Opportunities: Sponsors and teachers are needed for a variety of student ministry' programs including Sunday morning, Gravity (Sunday nights), and other events throughout the year.
Time Involvement: Varies

TRI-VILLAGE TRAILS
Description: Tri-Village Trails is one of the only church trail systems in the country.  Established in 2013, it seeks to utilize a large portion of Tri-Village's 46-acre campus.  A Scripture walk is a part of the main trail.
Service Opportunities: Help maintain the trail system through clearing of trees, brush, and other fallen branches. There may be additional opportunities available to plan activities such as a nature walk or community 5k.

VIDEO
Description: The Video Ministry helps film the weekly announcements, record the Sunday sermons, and make an impact throughout the year with other video projects.
Service Opportunities: Opportunities include helping with filming, sound and/or video editing, and recruiting individuals to assist in the video ministry.

VISUAL ARTS
Description: The Visual Arts Ministry deals with stage design.  The stage backgrounds vary in terms of when they change.  Some backgrounds are done thematically based upon the sermon while others are seasonal.
Service Opportunities: Individuals are needed for a variety of roles including design, construction, and set-up/tear-down.

WELCOME MINISTRY
Description: Greeters provide hospitality, information, and assistance to any individual attending a worship service or event. 
Service Opportunities: Volunteers are needed to serve as greeters on Sunday mornings, handout bulletins, assist at the Welcome Center, and serve as building hosts/hostesses.
Time Involvement: Greeters need to arrive at least 20 minutes before a service begins.  Welcome Center volunteers stay at least fifteen minutes after a service has finished.
Membership Required: No

WOMEN
Description: The Women's Ministry provides opportunities for women to know Jesus, experience personal and spiritual growth, build Christian friendships, and share Jesus' love through hands-on ministry.
Service Opportunities: There are a wide range of opportunities to be involved including Bible studies and events.

Membership Required: Only if in a leadership role such as leading a women's Focus Group.
